Find Twins

Can you find a twin for each of Tenby, Brighton and Happisburgh on the Yorkshire coast? Use your knowledge of scale and maybe even your measurement skills to help.

Investigate Whitby

If Whitby wasn’t one of your towns, find it now and look around its maps. Answer these questions about it:

• Is there a lighthouse?
• Sketch or list the symbols related to tourism (holidays).
• What is the name of the river that runs through Whitby?
• How many bridges over the river can you find between Whitby Harbour and Sleights?
• Find a photo of your favourite bridge.

From Whitby Harbour, go approximately 7km West, then 1km North. What do you find?
