All Y3 classes made good progress in the time available. Especially given that they’d not seen 2Connect before.
Most children did not have time to add notes or nodes for comparing the message types. This was effectively an extension. Some LAPs struggled to understand what to do with a mind map - with few ideas they didn’t have anything to put on it.
I only showed the notes to one LAP; it was a good way to keep them engaged but was still too complicated to support their independent work.
Make a short piece on semaphore and morse code; they seemed interested. A video to embed would be good. In addition, a folder of useful images might add options.
