Photos

This is the easiest way to Copy photos from your iPad to the school network.

In the Files App

• Tap on the three little pigs icon at the top of the sidebar.
• Tap Connect to Server
• Type smb://srv-dc
• On the Connect to Server box, tick Registered User and type school/username and your school network password
• Tap Next at the top right of the box.

This will make a ‘Shared’ network connection visible under ‘Locations’. It should stay there from now on.

• See and tap the Photos and Videos drive in the file view panel.
• Find and open the folder in which you want the photos.

In the Photos App

• Select the photos you need to copy.
• Tap the Share button , then Copy

Back to the Files App

• Long tap in the view view panel to show the context menu.
• Tap Paste

The files will be copied and converted into a compatible format that you’ll be able to use to print, add to documents and share in other ways.
